Thanks for mentioning NOSA! I’m from Ohio, but I’ve managed to see a few of their shows, a couple at River Cities and 1 at west Fargo and it is definitely one of the best and most underrated regional series out there period. With the ASCOC gone, I’d say NARC & IRA lead the way with regional 410 series but NOSA is right there behind them

So, it is around 730pm on the date this is posted, and i just noticed brent marks is indeed at the speedweek show at port royal tonight. And idk if i saw it correctly, but fud is going to be there? I'm by no means 100% sure its true that fud is there, but maybe?

Grandview is not a favorite track for a lot of drivers. Most drivers are most likely choosing where they run better plus costs. Jacob Allen had motor problems the night before

First visit to grandview for myself, the racing was pretty decent… but the facility itself, needs some work (and that’s putting it nicely)…

I know this is off topic Justin. But do WoO and HL or any other sprint cars (NARC)? Do they have rules about on board fire suppression systems? Seems like I heard they did, but I haven’t seen any go off that I’m aware of. Do they or don’t they? Thanks!

So I'm curious why the WoO sprints have "freebies" to go race in other series but the late models don't have to worry about "freebies". They're free to go race elsewhere whenever. It doesn't make sense to me why you would have 1 series restricted and 1 series not. Is there a specific reason why the 2 series are different?

The car starting on the outside of the second row was way out of line. Why weren’t they penalized too?

Sprints in Pa nowadays is kind of a joke, they go to maryland during "PA" speedweeks just to avoid the smaller tracks where talent matters alot more. "bad dirt" is an obvious excuse.

Grandview is a good dirt oval, terrible facility. They spend money giving all these guys security shirts and headsets, then when a medical emergency occurs you think they were able to radio it in ASAP? Nope! No where to be found. That poor fan sat through an entire heat race while people frantically tried to signal for attention. Genuinely worst track facility wise that I've been to. The actual oval is great fun, but its clear the owner stopped giving a shit a while ago, makes sense theyd suddenly try and sell it without giving a racing person a chance to buy it.

Most PA posse guys are afraid of small tracks, not the top guys who travel obviously but your run of the mill mid pack posse guy definitely just didn't want to look bad

I was there last night at Old No. One Speedway and it was an awesome race but the modified race was better. with just a few Laps to go the battle got really good.

PA drivers suck on small tracks, part of why they can no longer compete on the national level.

Grandview is a killer track ignore the clowns. Central PA desperately needs another smaller track

I’ve seen comments stating that the dirt cars on asphalt is not going to work because of the bodies, tires etc. Others are saying that this is the wrong decision because they will be slow etc. Those comments are completely irrelevant and false. That dirt car that looked so slow that everyone thought he was pulling into the pits was turning 14 second laps. At Anderson Speedway, the asphalt late models are running 15 second lap times. The first time on track and they were turning 14 second lap times, they will get faster and it will be a good show. I remember when the sprint cars came to race at Anderson, they were turning mid 13 second lap times and slowed down to low 14 second laps.

Macri gave it away by leaving the rubber to attempt pass a lap car.

the reason for grandveiws low car count is that grandveiw is a trash track, that track doesn't have clay it has top soil and foundry dirt, my grandfather used to work at the foundry where they used to get thier dirt from, not to mention the horrible lighting for the track and around the facility

Call me crazy, but throughout my entire life going to a ton of different racetracks all around the country and growing up at the track nearly every week since I can remember, I don't think I've ever seen a track not be able to immediately throw the yellow and either give a warning or dock a row for an issue on a start. Especially now in recent years with the ability to watch almost any race in the country within a few hours after they're over on youtube I still can't recall a situation like this. I'm a fan of Borden for sure but I've also known Hartlaub for years, what a mess though.

We have to support all tracks not just our favorites. Dirt tracks are being shut down very sad to see. Chity officials or not!!! It’s racing things happen!

Yep bad start that’s my white line on the start. First time used Finley, Mill Stream speedway Rick Nichol with the All-Star show first use the white line for the start re start ,for anybody that wants to know. I see every body users it Cool. It saved a lot of time and fuel and fights. ( Remember ? ).

Saw this happen at an outlaw show a long time ago at lernerville. cost a local guy a starting spot in the feature!

Had 23 followed track rules and everybody followed the white cars line. It would’ve been a giant crash as he greatly impeded the Outside Ln., Borden was in the right spot.

A pole car always protects the bottom unless they push up off the bottom. The pole guy stepped on his wanker.

Eldora has this same rule . It isn't necessary to through a yellow and restart and take up extra time to reset the field . If I were a promoter I would have the same rule

The pole sitter launched to the right, did they expect the whole inside line to follow the pole sitter? That would have caused a massive pile up. Losers. And dont get me started about waiting 20 laps. BS

My thing is usually as in all of sprintcar racing if you "jumped" the start its the flaggers responsibility to to wave the yellow and do a restart usually with the person who jumped losing 1 spot! This obviously did not happen, and in my opinion borden did not jump at all

Yes, if you don’t make the call right away, you don’t make the call!

Eldora does the same thing when someone jumps the start. They wait til the next caution then move that person back 2 spots. Nobody pitches a bitch when they do it
